nice and interesting piece. To help figuring out where it is from, can you post photos from different angles and what is the darker black looking matrix.

Hello John,
Thank you for helping me. I live in a country where there is fog and slush. Until a better light, here is a view in binoculars.
The dark gray background seems to be made with very small Barytes.
