What an amazing time Jim and I are having!!!! We had dinner with Jordi tonight, it was great fun. So, where are the rest of you, come on! Come join us!

That's a brilliant exhibit that you put together!! I was starting to think this is a slow year at Tucson - not many reports - so thankfully you are back to give us the scoop (as we sit buried in snow here in the Northeast tonight).

Jordi, I think there is some different in Tucson. I saw in your photographs a lot of umbrellas on the ceiling of the hall. Is it raining from the bottom to the sky? ;)

A quick note telling you that as usual, I have some favorites from the Main Show Display Cases, but due the circumstances (I fly back soon) and considering that many photos of them were already posted in the Gail's thread as well as in this thread, I will publish my thoughts and photos later, from Barcelona. but let me tell you that this time I will be unfair because two Showcases touched my soul more than others, and not by its quality, "Ikonism" or hiper-beauty, but for something different, by the pure mineralogy in one case and by the "mineralogy + the concept" in the other one.

As the people attending Tucson can easily guess them are the two Showcases from Gail & Jim Spann, and later, from Barcelona, I will try to explain why with the help of the photos and some other considerations.

For now, lets go to the nex post to the PARTY!!!!
