I want to know about the name and location (country, region, and place), this regards to closed down and existing mercury mines. If it is closed or producing today it does not matter.

Examples:
Peru (Huancavelica, ...),
Spain (Almadén)
Netherlands (The Goningen field)

Look up the New Almaden mine in San Jose, CA on Google Earth. Very interesting to view the surface remains of the mine.
