PostPosted: May 08, 2017 15:56    Post subject: A clue for this?

Hi, I would like to know if anyone in the forum has a clue about what this is. I am very sorry for not making tests like streak or hardness, it is a really tiny unique piece, and I have no more to make tests.

The color is somewhat like the brookite.

It is from Zimapan, Hidalgo, Mexico, and associated with Calcite, Dolomite and Chalcopyrite.

This is the list of minerals described for this locality. Any ideas?

This doesn't look tetragonal to me; I'd vote for epidote.
