Description: Mass: 215 g MIM number: 1324 Double terminated hexagonal prism in a beautiful blue, mechanically freed from its marble matrix. The upper termination of the crystal, richly faceted, is very rare for the species. Under longwave ultraviolet light, the afghanite becomes brownish.
