Olá José Miguel:
I would like to make some suggestions about the likely localities of your quartz specimens labelled as from "Minas Gerais":
- The "Elestial Quartz - 12.2 x 5.8 x 5.3 cm", the "Citrine Quartz DT - 12 x 4 x 4.7 cm", the "Citrine - 11.9 x 3.3 x 2.1 cm" and the "Citrine - 14.8 x 7.3 x 5.9 cm" might have come from the county of Itinga; I say this because the faces are not completely sharp and bright, and this is characteristic from the quartz found on the pegmatite district of Itinga/ Coronel Murta; I have bought and sold several lots of smoky quartz and citrines from that area and they all show this pattern (nice shapes and colors but not completely bright faces); the other pegmatite district that has produced large amounts of smoky quartz "elestials" (also called "alligator quartz") and citrines is the Conselheiro Pena/ Galiléia district, but on this district the quartz crystals are more frequently very sharp and bright (like happens on your specimen "Citrine - Jaboti mine - 7.2 x 4.9 x 2.6 cm"; Jaboti mine is located in São Geraldo do Baixio county, inside the Galiléia - Conselheiro Pena pegmatite district); any of the above listed 4 specimens may also have been found in Coronel Murta, that belongs to the same Itinga - Coronel Murta pegmatite district, but I have seen much more specimens like those coming from Itinga than from Coronel Murta on the past years.
- The "Citrine Quartz - 10.2 x 3.8 x 3 cm" came from the Barra do Salinas mine, Coronel Murta; the "cast" of light smoky quartz, with shades of darker color, growing over a light citrine or colorless or light smoky quartz crystal, is typical from that mine.
Regards
Luiz

Muito obrigado, Luiz.
The next crystal is another Citrine Quartz, from Minas Geraes, Brazil.
Do you think it comes from Galiléia - Conselheiro Pena pegmatite district? It is jacaré and very sharp, with very good luster.

Olá José:
The citrine/"jacaré" looks to be from São Geraldo do Baixio; it was a district of Galiléia until about 10 years ago, when it was emancipated as a new county; most of the best "jacarés" (="alligator smoky quartz") found in Minas Gerais comes from São Geraldo do Baixio.

Olá José Miguel:
Do you know when your last citrine was found?

Luiz, I don´t know when the last citrine was found. It has a very beautiful golden greenish color, with excellent luster.

José, it is very difficult to be sure; this citrine specimen is very fine and it could have come from São Geraldo do Baixio, Itinga or Coronel Murta; if somebody forces me to pick-up only one, I would say São Geraldo do Baixio.

Thanks, Luiz. This is another Citrine Quartz from Minas Geraes, Brazil. It has also a very beautiful golden-green color. Maybe it comes from the same place?
