That's it for the party and social gathering at the Webb's home. They have wonderful minerals and what a treat to be able to see them and photo them. We are their guests for the night and manage to go off to bed at 1:30 a.m.
So much for Thursday ....we get to go to the show on Friday morning and the next section will be our full day there before heading off back to Dallas. The show is going through the weekend, but we are in the middle of construction at our home and need to be there.
Look for my next batch of photos, to be posted, shortly. Someone's got to mow the lawn and I fear it's going to rain, so will be back soon ...
PS....thinking of Robyn Hawk and wishing she were here at the show, perhaps next year?

A side note about the Mineralogical Record magazine. Many people ask us, as Senior Fellows, if our donations go into producing the supplemental publications such as the Texas collector edition, the Crystalline Treasures, The Greenbank supplement...and the answer is no. Every one of those is paid for by outside sources. I know on the Texas supplement we all chipped in to make that happen, the collectors that is. No money from subscriptions or donations as fellows goes towards those, just FYI.
Some people have complained, well...I say just throw out the supplement if it is not something you are interested in, but somehow I think very few actually do.
