Today I would like to show you an ilvaite. This sorosilicate present in skarns principally, is not very abundant, and turns out to be appreciated by the collectors.

The quartz from Huanggang has a characteristic morphology as shown in the attached pictures. They usually show very marked polycrystalline surfaces, with the typical spindled shape, and even sceptered terminations in some specimens. Normally they are usually milky, although it has also been observed the presence of intense green quartz due to inclusions, probably of Actinolite and / or Hedenbergite.

Today I will show you two pieces of Löllingite from Inner Mongolia. In this deposit this mineral occurs as large lenticular crystals with small, very sharp, Arsenopyrite crystals.

| Beautiful green fluorite, Manuel. The central crystals remind me of some Erongo specimens, the upper crystals of Riemvasmaak. Really nice one!
