| And with a second look, the matrix doesn't look quite right for Book Cliffs, especially in the third photo. James is right, the reddish brown crystals (if they are crystals) look like siderite. | |

| Vic! Welcome back. Those are some beautiful specimens. I much prefer crystals on matrix to loose crystals, and I've very seldom seen quartz specimens from that area on matrix. | |
