This is a beautiful group of Amethyst Quartz crystals, very transparent, with an intense zoned color, deeper at the rhombohedral terminal faces, and excellent lustre.

Thanks John. It is a strange case. Maybe could it be possible to use a geiger counter for to detect residual radioactivity in a suspicious heliodor?
