I agree with Bob. There are a lot of manganese oxides in the Glove mine. There is even coronadoite coating and replacing the wulfenite.

Photo 1060 Cerussite from Leadville. Can you provide more history on the piece and the pocket?

I collected this specimen in 1969 on my second underground trip. This was a really good day.

How about another one from Arizona?

These were collected in 1977. The miners found the pocket at 8:30am and I came to work at 4:00pm. Fortunately, there were a few left in the bottom of the pocket.

Certainly not my favorite but I think this is a fairly good one from this locality.

I have to apologize for the color. For some reason it did not translate through to this site. It is a very good Red Cloud red.

How about one from the Red Cloud? The association with quartz is uncommon. There were only a half dozen specimens from the pocket. All of the others were thumbnails.

For Arizona, it is the Iron Cap mine.
