This was the second NHM museum I visited in Budapest. It is located within university campus. Specimens are from many older locations that are heard about and seen infrequently.

There were several exhibits in Budapest. I was able to visit two of them. First with the Hungarian NHM.

It was a pleasant surprise to find this galena specimen amongst a mass of pyrite specimens.

BTW - I will be in Prague and Budapest in the coming year. Any thoughts on museums open to vi ...
