| This looks more like a cobble of Calcite or possibly gypsum rather than Quartz. See if you can scratch it using a pocket knife or nail. | |

| You can get a free trial of just about any editing programs including full blown Photoshop. So I would try out a few and see which you like, but my suggestion would be Photoshop and or lightroom. | |
