So...there's a story here. Diana had hired this rather interesting "character" to play his guitar and sing a serenade to Dan.
This fellow is known by some as I hear he has been around the mineral circles for a long time, but I couldn't resist taking photos of him as he caused a crowd to form as he sang a love song....
