I too, am new.
Welcome, Alexis! I hope you enjoy all the beautiful minerals the FMF members share, as much as I. I am a novice to the mineralogy field, but have learned so very much here on FMF.
Mr. Fabre has organized a most-impressive and educational site, which should prove to be both entertaining and informative for you; as there is a plethora of information here!
There are many members with the knowledge of educational professors and many of the world's foremost mineralogy experts participate, as well.
