Hello Fred,
While you are talking about La Madeleine's surroundings, would have a picture of actinolite / byssolite from le Glandon ? I do have some self collected at home, but I do not have the equipment nor the ability (anyway) to take pictures like yours.

Sorry i have nothing like this.... For photo if you want i can take for you.
Send by post and returned as send....
I'm interested by all specimen, small and beautiful.... Size of FOV 1 mm to 3 mm is the best but in fact i'm able to take all photo....
In few time; FOV 0.5 mm..... i'm waiting a ring for that...

As impressive as usual. Sorry didn't have time yet to look into my inventory to see if I can find a decent actinolite sample I can mail you, but I'll make a try this week-end. Would you have pictures of Mont-Blanc's fluorite as well ?
