My friend Jordi Fabre made me a proposal not long ago to become moderator of this "Collection Photos" because of the large workload he has every day for having to watch so many other forum sections, not to mention running his own business.

But I'm not sure if I'll be able to perform this task as expected. First of all, since my mother tongue is not English but Catalan, the main thing I'll ask you now is to forgive me for any present or future grammatical mistakes.

Second, I think my most important goal should be to encourage all of you, the registered users of this forum, that can be counted by the hundreds now and I hope by the thousands in the not distant future, to post your specimen pictures here. Sure, there are other places to go on the net, but you'll find in this forum a different environment, I'd say more familiar, like being among friends, more flexible, with much less restrictions.

As you can see, only two people (not counting myself) have dared to do it so far. It's an insignificant proportion over the whole body of users. So take your camera right now, shoot your pictures, and rush to post them in this forum. It'll be as if you got a lot of visitors, mineral lovers, to your home but without having to open the door every time.

We're waiting for your photos. They'll be very welcome!
