Thanks for the great reports and photos, Gail. It is always nice to match the faces
to the posters here.
I wasn't able to get out to the Westward Look show, as we were leaving as the show was
opening. Sorry I missed everyone, but I least I saw the pics and heard some stories. And I hope that more stories are forthcoming.

Hi Paul, as a fellow Texan you might appreciate that Stretch and Lynn Young won the Desautels trophy as well as the Friends of Mineralogy award tonight. Photos will follow soon. It is a truly exciting show with lots of fun and easiness after a stressful event last year perhaps? I have so enjoyed all the wonderful people and the camaraderie to be found everywhere.

Adding a few more photos..
The Kristalle booth had a private area where high jinks seem to happen. I was invited to high tea at four o'clock and was presented with a proper hat and scones, clotted cream and jams as well as lovely hot tea. The cameras started poking in the curtains as people snuck photos....well, so it went till the fellows had THEIR turn. Pinkies in the air!
