Thank you for posting the tribute to Joise Scripps put on by the Fallbrook Gem and Mineral group. You would have liked knowing her. She was one of my early mentors starting back in 1968, and I went on to be one of her "Yellow Hats" and driver for many many years. It was through her that I made my first trip to Tucson back in 1972/1973 when we place in a case of minerals from the San Diego Natural History Museum in the show. The memories are still there even if she is no longer with us. One of the great ones in the mineral world.

We own a number of Josie's ex pieces and I feel honored to have them. I have heard some amazing stories about her, she reminds me of a female Rock Currier! I am envious that you knew her, and enjoyed her good mentorship. We should sit and visit sometime.
