Several radiating, 3-dimensional sprays of Galena pseudomorphing what was once Stibnite. all perched on lustrous white Baryte crystals. The largest spray is 53 mm across. Formerly in the collection of Richard Jackson, this specimen is pristine.

| Lustrous, translucent, dark-green, intergrown octahedrons of Fluorite to 16 mm across, accented with coatings of fine-grain white Quartz. California is not known for producing Fluorite, and there are only two localities that produce green (and octahedral!) Fluorites - this locality and the Felix prospect in Azusa; both of these localities are now closed to collecting. It is free of damage on the face. Strongly fluorescent in LW, and less so in SW, which is uncommon. |

Hi
This cluster looks very similar to a cluster I have, that I've been meaning to have ID'D. mine is darker and not as translucent. Do these crystals have lighter and darker tones?

| They can have dark cores. These are just particularly good because they are internally gemmy and could cut some nice stones. Ain't goin' to happen.

A group of highly-lustrous, light-green Fluorite crystals to 16 mm is richly coated with numerous sharp, whitish Quartz points to 18 x 10 mm. These Fluorites are highly transparent, and the cubes have dodectahedral modifications. Small white grains of Quartz are included within these very glassy Fluorites, and some seem to be preferentially oriented. It is an excellent specimen, supposedly from a small 2013 find, and damage free.
The Quartz shows strong orange fluorescence in LW. |

Wonderful! My favourite is the 17 cm quartz pseudomorph after calcite from Huanggang - a spectacular specimen!
