Hello Don,
Several years ago I acquired several specimens of the stalactitic blue chalcedony from Fasi Makki. According to Fasi, the the white acicular mineral is not okenite, but mordenite. Mindat does have several photos of mordenite on blue stalactitic chalcedony from Nashik. It also shows several photos which look very similar to your specimen from Aurangabad.

Hi Michael,
I googled blue chalcedony with okenite and blue chalcedony with mordenite and both material look similar. According to mindat both okenite and mordenite can be found in Nasik and Pune, India.
Sincerely,
Don

Hi DR Don, nice specimens as usual. What is the white mineral under the Arkansas barite? Foamalite? :-)

Hahaha, Pierre, It is an associated mineral yet to identified. Until I can do an XRD and Raman analysis on a small piece I will consider it a type of foam. If it is a new mineral perhaps I will name it after you. In reality it came with barite mounted that way and I know I can break off or soak off the foam to take the picture but I left it for now. I chose this specimen to post because of its little known locality. Hello to Riana. I enjoy our friendly banter.
Regards,
Don
