Another specimen from Polveros.
Intergrown groups of colorless calcite rhombohedrons (Some of them striated) with good transparency - gives a glowing effect to the specimen!
Set in a brecciated black shale matrix.

This specimen is from the early days of my collection where I didn't really care about labeling - I am not sure where I got it from.
This was the time where material from La Pita was flooding the mineral market i.e. late '90s to early '00s.
Back then, prices were reasonable (sort of) and fakes were not yet predominant on the market.

A near flawless crystal from El Acuario.
Crystals of this locality often exhibit complex pyramidal terminations (Cf. the material from the same locality featuring pencil-like terminations which I posted earlier).

Thanks for your kind words.
The crystal is much better in person. It's clean and has a strong deep green hue.
The color combined to the unusual termination and the surrounding grey calcite give a dramatic aspect to the specimen.

2 groups of beryl crystals in parallel growth in combination with an aggregate of white laminar albite.
Host rock is black shale.
