I found this rock at the Tucson show in the miner's cooperative off highway 10...
It's supposed to be emerald fuchsite with quartz, which in appearance it certainly seems to be. But I understand the Moh's hardness for fuchsite is 2-3 where this tends to be the same as quartz around 6 or 7.
Cleavage tends to match quartz as well as I purchased some raw pieces as well as this cabochon.
I have an xrf analyzer as I own a few mines. And it does identify the potassium, aluminum, chromium. So I tend to believe it must be the emerald fuchsite in quartz.
Can anyone tell me the proper way to verify? I am a bit of a novice to this and appreciate all of your help.

Sorry but we can’t help you. As explained in FMF is a Forum about minerals FMF is a Forum about minerals. FMF is not a Forum about cut or polished stones, random rocks, or lapidary items.
Another question is that it makes very difficult to determinate anything else after polishing because with that process the mineral lose many of the characteristics that could have helped to recognize it.

I understand... We did an XRF analysis, and the high chromium levels and other makeup let us know it was emerald fuchsite in Quartz.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers

Emerald is a mineral (which certainly doesn't look anything like what you have). Fuchsite is another mineral (which usually has a more emerald-like green color than what I see on your picture. However there is no such thing as 'emerald fuchsite'. It's hard to guess identity of a polished stone simply based on a picture, but this could indeed be quartz included with a greenish mineral, which based on the dirty-green color could possibly also be chlorite.
