Hi Dany,
My guess for the Beryl is Malipo, Wenshan, Yunnan Province. The Hemimorphite is most probably from Kafang Mine, Geiju, Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province. And the Aragonite could be from Wenshan Mine, Wenshan, Yunnan Province (or possibly also from Kafang Mine).
Best wishes and stay healthy!

Thank you for your answer. As a beginner, I use mindat to try finding some locations and I saw that the Hemimorphite from Wenshan Mine seems like my specimen. Could you explain how you could make the difference from these two locations ?
Best regards.

Hi Dany,
My Hemimorphites from Kafang Mine are coarser crystalline and have that intensive blue like yours. Those from "Wenshan Mine" show a smoother surface (no single crystal faces visible) and a "baby-blue" color like your Aragonite. I can see only these small differences, and I know that is no real evidence.
On the other hand, it was told to me (I don't remember by whom) that there is no "Wenshan Mine", and most Hemimorphites come from the Kafang Mine. So, there is some confusion about these mine names.
Even Berthold Ottens (the real expert for China) writes that the blue Hemimorphites only occur in Kafang, and "Wenshan" is often used because it is a trading point and no real location is known by the dealer.
The blue Aragonites are said to origininate from the karst areas around Wenshan. So, my assumption is that Kafang Mine for coarse crystalline (glittering) blue Hemimorphites is ok, all others should be doubted, "Wenshan Mine" used at least with question mark.
I hope you are not too confused now!
Greetings
Volkmar

Thank you for explaining the differences. Your explanations are clear and helped me to understand better how to deal with the information found on Internet, I mean with precautions.
Best Regards.
