One of the few pieces that can be attributed to a specific vein (Mariposa Kean) at the locality. This was conveyed to me from the dealer.

Very unusual and interesting gold specimen, is this a pseudomorph?

And again a beautiful Oppu Mine rhodo - I love it!

Thanks Tobi!

The gold isn't a pseudomorph. I don't think that it is a true gold wire, but a series of stacked crystals forming a column that bends around the matrix.

Thanks Sante!
The coloring does obscure any possible faden line.

Hi, Am.

Unfortunately, I know the problem. I've a similar specimen from the same locality with chlorite inclusions, where you can barely recognize the string.
However, in your wonderful specimen the unmistakable shape is very indicative.
Warm greetings.
Sante
