Thank you for your funny comment Tobi. I thought it was unusual to see sphalerite on calcite. Usually you see calcite on sphalerite from Elmwood. |
That's right Don, the specimen is not only very beautiful but also unusual. I know several combinations of the usual Elmwood stuff (fluorite, calcite, baryte, sphalerite), but a sphalerite candy ON a calcite is really special.

| Nice Oppu specimen again, Don. I never had a specimen from that locality and they are really scarce on the market. The more I like the several Oppu Mine pieces from your collection!
