Perfectly formed, transparent and very shiny twinned crystal of golden color on a massive white dolomite matrix covered with small quartz and adularia crystals.

Perfectly formed translucent dark red octahedron on a chrysocolla matrix offering an astonishing color contrast. Other cuprite crystals (the largest measuring 9 mm) uniformly coated with chrysocolla dot the matrix.

Transparent, mint green fluorite octahedron with truncated summits, crossed by a 6.9 cm tourmaline with green head and black body. The latter is topped with other similar but smaller tourmalines, as well as lamella of cleavelandite.

Perfectly formed crystal of light blue translucent sodalite (hackmanite variety) on a white marble matrix. The crystal has all its faces and is smooth and shiny (which is not common for these sodalites released from the marble in which they were formed). In addition, it shows a very strong orange fluorescence under long UV, and a pale yellow phosphorescence.

MIM number:2197
Large, cream-gray beryllonite wheel developed on a matrix made of 7 large, well-formed white pollucite crystals (the largest measuring 18 cm). It is very unusual to find these two rare minerals in association, let alone in such a large and well-formed sample. The whole is reminiscent of a reclining lion whose body and legs are pollucite and the mane beryllonite, hence the nickname "The Lion of Kashmir" given to this piece.

Large translucent perfectly formed dark pink octahedron perched on a 20.5 cm doubly terminated transparent and colorless quartz. It is rare to find a combination of these two minerals in a floating set of this size, let alone so well preserved.

Perfectly formed and symmetrical octahedron with sharp points and faces augmented by very flattened 6-sided rounded pyramidal shapes. The crystal weighs 92.58 carats, is light yellow, and is surprisingly clean (a single 1mm inclusion is visible very close to the surface, the interior being completely clear). It is astonishing that this crystal, found in the diamond-bearing gravel of a river, has survived so intact.

Large, wery well-formed crystal exhibiting unusual morphology for orthorhombic Na-Tb oxides, with elongated, tapered terminal faces. It displays a visually striking color zonation, from translucent, smoke-gray and brown cores (bismuth and niobium-rich stibiotantalite), to opaque black rims (bismutotantalite). There is minor matrix on one corner which is composed of albite and green tourmaline (the main mineral from this pegmatite).

Aesthetic group consisting of several copper “feathers” with perfect natural brown patina. Crystals are elongated along one or more of the cubic axes with repeated growth along their lengths, which results in this 3-dimensional arborescent form with "branches" at right angles to the "stem". It is rare to have so many “feathers” together in one piece: usually this locality just produces single copper “feathers” with no matrix.

The cogwheel characteristic of bournonite appears very well on the periphery of the crystal. The specimen has an astonishing appearance reminiscent of a lollipop.

Huge olive-green rhombohedral monocrystal perched on a white orthoclase matrix offering an astonishing contrast. It is very rare to find such a large and well-formed crystal for this species. The siderite is translucent under strong light up to a few millimeters thickness. The specimen was found as is, as evidenced by the small crystals of other minerals (including fluorite) that dot the faces of the orthoclase.

Spectacular alignment of green apophyllite crystals measuring approximately 65 cm and taking the appearance of a snake, hence the nickname "Kaa" after the fictional giant snake from The Jungle Book stories written by Rudyard Kipling. The basalt slab covered with white stilbite-Ca on which the snake formed seems complete on all sides. It is very rare to find such a large specimen (let alone with this unusual aesthetic) in such good condition.

Two perfect interpenetrating green spherical tufts, the largest measuring 8 cm in diameter and the smallest 6.5 cm. They consist of prismatic, tabular-terminated crystals, and have grown on a pearl-white stilbite-Ca matrix, itself formed on a black basalt slab.
