I have checked: it is not present in Mindat and quite different than Pampa Blanca or Casapalca ; The real color is more olive green than this yellow green

Hello Philippe,

Nice epidote/quartz specimen. I believe your specimen comes from San Felipe Mountain, Tablacucho, Cascas, Gran Chimu Prov., La Libertad, Peru. Epidotes from this locality started appearing on the market sometime around late 2019. They are not to be confused with the new find of epidote and hematoid quartz specimens that supposedly come from the San Felipe Mine, Sartimbamba, La Libertad, Peru. These latter specimens are mostly combinations of acicular epidote sprays associated with elongated pinkish quartz crystals and were found in 2024.
