Hi y'all Gail!
Just wondering whose case the amethyst was in? It is quite a stunning piece.
Bob

Hi Bob, hope you don't mind my interjecting into your post, but it saves space and I figure you are a friend and won't mind. Fine Minerals International is Daniel Trinchillo's business, Marco was under his banner and not sure if he was just for the show or what? Many times people wear badges and might not be working for them as much as assisting.

Thank you Carlos, for your post below. The show exhibits were absolutely amazing. Gail

It was in the Fine Minerals International case. I top quality piece from the premiere amethyst locality in the U.S.A. Gemmy deep colored amethyst crystals on clear quartz matrix is as good as it gets from Jackson's Crossroads.

The Smithsonian had a great case even if the gem crystals were left behind due to the major snow storm in Washington, D.C. So they laid out the gemstones and jewelry, and it was STILL fabulous!

A wonderful case that honored a great man, put in by his son Bruce I believe?
I thought this was tasteful and many people came to view it at the Main Show.
