This is one of my favorite fluorites from southern Illinois. It was collected by Ross Lillie in November 1979 in the brand new Denton shaft.

That's a tough one Michael.
There are literally hundreds of tunnels in Coscuez but just a few are in activity today.
I have quite a few specimens from Coscuez but I gave up on trying to get specific information about the localities.
What comes to my mind at first glance is that this a very nicely balanced specimen. I also like the step-like termination which is probably found more in Coscuez than in any other mining district. Excellent photo too!
Am jealous now :-)
