Hi Vachik,
thank you very much for showing those spectacular specimens! I don't know much about Iranian minerals and there are not many on the market, but i suppose that this large country has a lot of beautiful minerals. I really enjoyed your first pictures and i hope there are a lot more to come!
Cheers!
Tobi

Vachik,
Thanks for these great pictures. Iran must be a great, too much unexplored, mineralogical place. The hemimorphites and epidotes are stunning!
Here I attached some photos of a wulfenite specimen from the Ahmad Abad mine from my collection. Hope it adds to this topic.

I got it from a friend some time ago, who bought it some years ago from Trinity minerals.
Don't know when these were found, but at that time John Veevaert had a couple of these that were sold very quickly. At that time I wasn't able to get one, but am happy that I have this one now some years later :-)

A very exceptional cabinet specimen of lustrous atacamite crystals in emerald-green colour. See child photos for closer views. Such gorgeous example of the copper species never seen before from the locale! It must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!

The locality is recorded here for a new find of the gemmy bright/dark green demantoid garnets in the metamorphics on the southern flank of Belqeys Mountain, 34 km NE of Takab, NW of Iran. Not studied in detail yet. The crystals are nicely terminated.
