Thanks. Yes Tobi, I like it very much, it comes from the 70s when I was travelling with my father in Romania, a wonderful country

I've never been there but I'm also fascinated by this country, by its history, its nature and its landscapes and of course its minerals. I have a several Romanian pieces but sadly no good rhodochrosite such as yours. Like other classic rhodos (e.g. German ones) they are hard to get and very scarce on the market.

Outstanding quality and aesthetics for a kyanite, wow! I remember some time ago I watched a video from Bluecap Productions where Rob Lavinsky presented some of his high-class minerals. Among them was a similiar kyanite cluster from Brazil and he also said that this mineral actually is nothing for him and his customers but very seldom there's such a good one that can be considered a really fine mineral. Looks like you also had the luck getting such a stunner :-)

You really have a fine collection of selected pieces, I love to watch your contributions and I hope there will be many more of your specimens.

Regards
Tobi

This is what I would call a perfect vanadinite specimen. Quite large crystals, great contrast, perfect aesthetics all-around. A superb piece of stunning quality!
