Hi folks,
Geopolis (the French confederation of Earth Sciences) just published its September issue including an article about microbead mineral cleaning and the issues related to the use of this technic (part of the article speaks about artificially improved mineral specimens).
The PDF is available at this address (from page 11) : https://www.geopolis.fr/information/septembre2010/gazette-geopolis-17.pdf
(link normalized by FMF)
Unfortunately, it is in French only.

Merci, Chris...
It would be easier to read in English, but on the other hand it gives me the opportunity to refresh my rusty French.....

Hi,
For those who don't speak English, you can try translating with Google Translate for instance. The translation isn't 100% accurate, but it gives a good overview.
