HI all im a Geotechnologist from Sudbury Ontario Canada....
I have 2 diplomas in Geotechnology at the college level and ive done 1 year of University which i plan on continuing on next year when the money allows it...
Anyways i also have a rock collection with fossils (but thats for another forum)... Ive personally collected alot of Minerals from across Canada and ive bought a fair share myself from street vendors and official dealers...
Currently i work as part of a team that does Geophysical IP and MT surveys and i have the oppourtunity to travel far and wide. Even though i have a small collection 50-60 specimens i can say it is quite diverse...
Currently iam working in finland and am working on adding to my collection... I was given a nice piece of core with sphalerite/Chalcopyrite in Grano-diorite....
I have creeped alot of the posts on the forum and iam happy to see people who know what they are talking about posting on the forum... I hope to learn more about minerals here and add to my overall knowledge.... |

You never know, i do travel alot....
What kind of mineral collection do you have? The only Ore i have from sudbury is from Lockerby Mine and its a piece of chalcopyrite with a minor amount of bornite on it....I would like a a piece of pentlandite to add to my collection, and id be willing to trade one of my specimens for a piece of that... |

Joseph, as Snownman can't use PM yet, why don't you PM him and continue this exchange in private?
Welcome to FMF, Snowman. I hope you have a lot of fun here and we look forward to seeing more images from your collection.
