Hello, i am very pleased to be a member of FMF now. I read this forum since many years with a lot of interest, and hope that I can also contribute sometimes a little bit.
About my person: I am 55 and a geologist (and mineralogist), working since many years in tunnel construction, especially in China now since 6 years. Collecting was the reason to study earth sciences in my young years. During and after my studies, I quit collecting because i was confronted with stones every day. Since my boys discovered my old collection, they also started with minerals, so I did again and continued until today. No end in sight...
