Are they paintings, or computer generated?
Also, it is always wise to seek the photographer's approval before painting...most people are ok with this, but you should never assume.

Excellent pieces of art!
It happens that the Riemvasmaak octahedral fluorite draft has been taken from a piece of my collection at https://www.mineral-forum.com/message-board/viewtopic.php?p=5786#5786 Thank you, but I'd be happier if it had such a bright color.
Please, keep posting!

Jordi Thanks for posting the message. (And your time)
These are digital watercolor, made almost entirely with photo shop (almost...)
The reason for the message in Spanish was asking permission from the owners of the pieces to post on my blog. In the Spanish message out the owner's name, in case anyone is curious ...
These watercolors are the result of the excellent pieces, fantastic photos, and new design techniques that attempt to develop.
I hope you like.
I used the google translator to write this message, and seems to have been pretty good.

Some mineral drawings would be good Tobias.
There are some good mineral artists around (see for instance Mineral Art on Facebook ->

Felix, I must say that to view your works, sort of hard copy-in hand, as published in Rock and Minerals, has made me stop and be amazed at your vision. Nice technique and composition. But of course nature did all the work (Right!). Are they available as prints? Beautiful! Do you work on consignment? I send you a photo file, you do your magic?
Thanks
Vic

|
|
Hi everyone!
I just got in my house the last issue of Rocks and Minerals, where there is an article called "mineral Spanish artist. "
I would warn that this article I found several errors.
The comments in Figure 1 and Figure 6 are exchanged.
Minerals in Figures 3 and 5 belong to the same collector (Carlos Pareja) but in Figure 5 there is an error in the name.
Finally figures 4 and 7 do not have the full name of the owner of the copy (perhaps because they would not be published)
However, the article is interesting, I recommend it
