Hi
Taking pictures of exceptional mineral is one of the pleasures of the photographer and he can touch these wonders. This is one of my motivations.
This alexandrite is exceptional in its origin and its quality. It shows his change color depending on the incident light.
This is a triple twin, but the central twin is dominant and repeated.
Roger.

Great picture. Thanks Roger. I have not seen this excellent color change documentation on any of my gemology sites.

Best color change I've seen. I've got a Rogerly fluorite that comes close but not that good.

Roger, great photograph! What light source did you use for the artificial light?

Martin

Hello Martin,
The modern artificial lighting remains a problem. I used both my fiber optic light source for the bino, that is to say the Leica CLS 150X box.
I only took half of its intensity.
Thank you all for the appreciation of my photos.
Roger.
