Dear Tony,
I may be partly "off base" on what I say, but please let me comment on your question. To my knowledge, magnetometers are used mainly by professional mineral deposits exploration geologists and geophysicists, and perhaps also by treasure hunters and meteorite collectors. Because this Forum is composed of persons who are interested in mineralogy and in the collecting of worldwide fine mineral specimens, I don't think there are likely to be many members among us who have much expertise relating to magnetometers, though a few probably do have experience in exploration geophysics. It's not really the kind of group to expect much of an answer about your question--though, someone else may surprise me and answer you. |
