A Colemanite with big clear, mirror bright crystals. It is from a one-time found in 2005 in the borate mine in Kestelek , Turkey.

Hi Rob, very nice topaz crystal ... but are you sure it is from Ojuela? I'm not an expert on Ojuela Mine but among the many minerals from that great mine, I never heard of the occurence of topaz there. I really doubt that locality information ... :-(

You are accurate as always. You're fully right : the Topaz is not from Ojuela but of course from Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Hi Rob,

two really wonderful English fluorite classics, very aesthetic and quite large. Sure, there are many larger specimens from Rogerley, but a 13,5 cm specimen from Hilton is nothing you see often, very impressive.

I also love the quartzes from Orange River and Thunder Bay, simply beautiful!

Stay well and please show us more from your collection :-)
