I didn't recognize the stone yet, the density of stone from 2.60 to 2.99
The hardness is higher than 8.5

It looks, to me, like a piece of quartzite. How did you measure the hardness?

Looks like carnelian or sard, which are basically just slightly different forms of Quartz. But they wouldn't be an 8.5 hardness and should be closer to 7. An 8.5 hardness is quite high, so I would try verifying the hardness with something aside from the masonry bit if you can.

Being as opaque as it is, I'd call it jasper, although the boundaries between quartz varieties are rather fuzzy.

Does it scratch normal glass?

I tried the knife and the screw and finally the bit of the drill, and they were all scratched by the stone. The thing that revived me the most is the hardness of the stone.

The stone is translucent to translucent. Perhaps some external impurities are affecting the transparency

What tools are available at home that can measure the hardness of any stone? What is the degree of hardness of each tool?
