PostPosted: Jul 06, 2021 05:35    Post subject: Cybersecurity, current hi tech hacking, and being a registered user of this forum

Because of all the recent cyberattacks, my family's security advisors have strongly suggested unregistering and logging out from multiple non-essential websites.

Being '"logged in" or simply registered to some of the websites (unsure about which specific ones) might just allow curious hi tech hackers to gain access to private info of the website users.

I would like to rejoin, at some future time, after having reassurance that each of the website's that I am leaving, including this one, has a cyber security team in place to keep the website secure from any hi tech hacking attempts.

Each registered forum user should evaluate their personal and family situation, making whatever personal decision seems best for them. Bob Harman
