I found this in my backyard & I think someone put it there as part of garden design. I am not sure where it comes from originally.

These look like quartz crystals coated by something. You need to read the General Guide for using the forum and do some basic tests (e.g. hardness, etc.). Otherwise, we can't really tell what it is from a photo.
