Hi all,
I will be traveling to Ireland and Northern Ireland in a few weeks. I was interested in possibly collecting some minerals. I know Northern Ireland has mostly zeolites. Is the Little Deerpark Quarry, Glenarm, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom open to collecting?
Any other decent spots to collect? If there are any collectors who would like to meet and possibly exchange minerals I can bring a few things over with me.
Cheers,
Stan |

Hi Rgangue!
My advice is: you should look for any mineral deposit on Mindat, searching by locality. You should know that minerals likely to be found or historically found in each locality are listed there.

Thank you Riccardo, I was able to connect with some Northern Ireland collectors and collected in the Little Deerpark Quarry in Antrim and the Mourne Mountains. |
