PostPosted: Nov 13, 2022 16:35    Post subject: Does this look familiar to anyone?

KiHello, I am new to this forum. I have no experience with minerals / rocks. I purchased this from a person who has no history about the piece. I purchased this in Indiana and I regret that I have no information about it at all. I was told by the lady I bought it from that they think it could be glass from a kiln "because it has bubbles in it." I thought it was beautiful, glass or not.

Some of the parts have a clear or glassy, sometimes milky gun- green or brown-glassy appearance. I don't know enough of the terminology to describe it further but hopefully the pictures will help. I appreciate any thoughts or suggestions

Thank you.

The green chunks have conchoidal fracture and no apparent symmetry. Your description that it has bubbles in it confirms glass slag. I do think you have some glass slag.
