I got this silver specimen shown below a few years ago (2020), and it was sold to me as coming from the Hongda mine near Datong. Now that i see those new Jizishan mine silvers on the Fabre Minerals website, it seems to me that my piece is actually from this new locality as well? The association with calcite looks pretty similar to the new specimens. Does anyone have more information about this new find?

Yes, it is from Jizishan.
It was told to me that in about 2014 all these Silvers came out and they were sold by weight and not as mineral specimens.
When the local discover found that they could be sold at higher prices to mineral collectors, they recovered all they could and offered them to the collectors market.
