Thank you so much for an exciting photo journal of the Chamonix show!
As you know I can really appreciate the effort put into this.
Jim and I honeymooned for a few days in Chamonix in 2003 and went to the top on Mt. Blanc despite my fear of heights. I could not look down on the gondola ride up, but instead could look straight out.
Beautiful.
And Chamonix was a gorgeous town to roam about in. We bought a beautiful lead crystal vase which I treasure to this day. We had some crepes with pistachio ice cream and chocolate sauce while cooled by the mist of the river during a very hot day.
Thank you for showing some of the town in the photos, it is a reminder of a very good time as we bicycled across France with the Tour de France race course on our tandem bicycle.
