PostPosted: Jun 01, 2025 06:46    Post subject: Are the milky white parts in some hyalite specimens classified as Opal-AN or as Opal-CT?

I’ve noticed that many hyalite specimens—especially those from Mexico—often have some opaque or slightly translucent portions at their base. I’m curious: are these milky white parts also considered hyalite, or do they fall under Opal-CT instead?
