I have finished my Friday write up, sort of, I have another camera that has tons of photos yet to be downloaded. It was my birthday and just a wonderful time.
We went to a great party at Carol and Bill Smith's lovely home and I have some fun photos from that evening to post, but will wait till I finish Saturday and Sunday before doing the add on of all four days we were here.
Thank you all for your urging as this is a huge undertaking that I am pleased to see is appreciated.
Will start on Saturday shortly. We have a mineral collector coming for dinner and I have to go shopping.

Thanks for the excellent photo report, Gail. I do not understand how you manage during such a busy event. Your photos and reports represent a great gift to those of us who did not have the chance to go to Denver this year.

Thank you Knut, I am honoured you say such nice things.
I feel it is important to show how going to a mineral show is not all about looking at minerals, it is about interacting with fun people who love minerals as much as we all do too. The displays are worthy of a few hours of your time, lots of people take a lot of their time to put them there for us to see.
Eating at local restaurants to see what specialities they have is another wonderful part of going to various mineral shows.
And I think all the dealers deserve a giant round of applause for hauling their wares all over the country or the world to bring them to places we can all appreciate.
The social interaction and the good fellowship are both such great advantages of this fine hobby.
