PostPosted: May 25, 2010 12:38    Post subject: Swiss mineral localities on old postcards

I found some old postcards (ca. 1920-1930, I think) which illustrate valleys from Naters to Hospental and Andermatt to Chur. The interest in publishing these cards is that they can find locations and sites for classical Alpine mineral collectors. These lands were sevral times visited by Sr. Folch, as it is evidenced by the numerous labels shown on the Folch collection page.

Localities like Furkapass, Göschenental, Val Rusein, Disentis, Binntal, Oberalp, Hospental, Ravetsch Piz, Val Cavrein, Cherbadung, Voralp ... It allows us to get an idea of this area.
