At a small mineral show, a small piece caught my attention. It was labeled: 'Tourmaline Namibia.' I couldn't find any similar pieces on Mindat. Is there anyone who recognizes this and perhaps knows more about where this piece might come from in terms of location? It is definitely tourmaline, dark green in color—I'm not in doubt about the mineral type, but rather about the locality.
Thanks, Mathias.

hi to everybody!
it could be tsilaisite or dravite, I would say tsilaisite.

In all honesty, identifying tourmaline to the species level is impossible by the naked eye.
FYI: one tourmaline crystal can have growth zones of up to 4 different tourmaline species (= 4 different minerals in one single crystal).
In other words: just label it tourmaline, that is perfectly fine, and at least that label will not have any ID errors.
Cheers, Herwig
